Position Overview

The Certified and Master Certified Service Technician services and repairs vehicles by following all established standards and procedures. This role may include conducting pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles to ensure they meet customer expectations and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has dealer-level or large facility automotive experience and holds certifications such as those from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Excellent technical skills, a clean driving record, and the physical ability to perform hands-on work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle issues using experience, analysis, and testing methods
  • Maintain and improve technical knowledge through advanced training
  • Perform vehicle service and repairs while maintaining cleanliness and safety
  • Complete required documentation accurately and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Assist with maintaining the shop’s appearance, safety, and operational efficiency
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team goals

Work Hours

This is a full-time position with standard dealership hours. Flexibility may be required based on business needs.

Position Overview

As an Automotive B Level Service Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Your work habits and ethics directly impact customer satisfaction and the success of our service department.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose customer vehicle concerns using current technical tools and resources.
  • Provide courteous and respectful interactions with all customers.
  • Serve as a secondary customer greeter near the Service Drive to acknowledge customers promptly.
  • Stay informed by reviewing technical publications, Service Comm updates, and Asist terminal operations.
  • Deliver safe, reliable vehicle service as promised on the first visit.
  • Resolve all original customer concerns before discussing additional services.
  • Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify maintenance or repair opportunities based on local area and factory recommendations.
  • Return vehicles to customers clean or cleaner than when received.
  • Participate in factory-sponsored and in-house training programs to enhance technical skills.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and attach necessary shop forms to repair orders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Group Leader.
  • Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and wear a clean uniform daily.
